Lilly's Wedding Quilt - By Kelly Long
A wonderful story about a selfless woman named Lilly. The book is wonderful and the characters are great. Lilly is Amish schoolteacher, not looking for romance but ends up meeting Jacob Wyse-a horse breeder who saves her from an accident. Lilly has been taking care of her ill mother and teaching the commmunity youth. I have really enjoyed reading this book a great deal. Throughout the book they speak of Amish traditions that take place such as an Amish wedding quilt and how the pieces of fabric for the quilt emerge into something beautiful. It makes you imagine what life is like in their culture. Please note that Thomas Nelson Publishing has provided me a complimentary copy of this book for my review.

A Billion Reasons Why
A wonderful book that i could not put down. I have to say I was NOT disappointed and I had never read a book by Kristin Billerbeck before. Katie McKenna is engaged to be married to a man she doesn't love. She knows that she is settling for him. Her true love is a "multimillionaire" named Luc DeForges which she has known a long time but with whom she has hurt in the past as well as he hurt her. Will she allow herself to realize and admit that she belongs to Luc or will she settle into the life she thinks she deserves? It allowed me to be able to picture in my mind where she was at all times. it is a wonderful book.

The Least Among You
This is a movie based on a true story about racism in the 60's. Richard Kelly, a young intelligent black man, who was arrested during the 1965 Watts riots in Los Angeles, California. He would be able to avoid prison if he attended an all-white seminary. Kelly finds friendship and counsel in the "gardener in the basement" as Kelly describes Samuel Benton. I am confused as to what kind of seminary he attended. The thing is I really wanted to like this movie. The stories of integration and racial reconciliation have so many characters and layers that I cannot help but be moved by a number of them. But I can’t follow a film that lacks a driving story line and some connective tissue between the scenes, it seemed very choppy and I wonder if it was edited too much. This is an inspiring movie that is not sugar coated.

Outlive Your Life - by Max Lucado
Max Lucado is a great author and he has written another wonderful book that challenges us to be active in our surroundings and to join in our community to be the best we can be. Whether you yourself is struggling or your neighbor is he is there to lift us up and remind us that we can do for ourselves and for others no matter what our aituation is. He reminds us that our goal is heaven but we have to live our life as the best we can be from earth. I am a book reviewer for booksneeze and I received this book free and I enjoyed it and hope that many people read it and enjoy it too.

Falling Away - By By T.L. Hines
At first I was not sure about this book. But after a few pages I felt like I knew the characters. They became my friends. I felt like I had a vested interest in them as real people. Quinn, an "embedder" who was homeless for years and whose mother disppeared became this girl that I was rooting for. Dylan is running from his past joins the military to fill a void in his life. It is a book that touches you spirit and makes you question things in your own life. It is a great book and I would recommend it to all. I received this book free to read and review and express my opinion.
