Oh my goodness, BookSneeze chose me to attend and blog about the women of faith conference in atlanta, ga. I am so excited, this is going to be an amazing opportunity for me. It looks like the line up of speakers and musical guests are great, the website gives you so much information of the speakers and they seem wonderful, this is going to be an event not to miss.

Lilly's Wedding Quilt - By Kelly Long
A wonderful story about a selfless woman named Lilly. The book is wonderful and the characters are great. Lilly is Amish schoolteacher, not looking for romance but ends up meeting Jacob Wyse-a horse breeder who saves her from an accident. Lilly has been taking care of her ill mother and teaching the commmunity youth. I have really enjoyed reading this book a great deal. Throughout the book they speak of Amish traditions that take place such as an Amish wedding quilt and how the pieces of fabric for the quilt emerge into something beautiful. It makes you imagine what life is like in their culture. Please note that Thomas Nelson Publishing has provided me a complimentary copy of this book for my review.

A Billion Reasons Why
A wonderful book that i could not put down. I have to say I was NOT disappointed and I had never read a book by Kristin Billerbeck before. Katie McKenna is engaged to be married to a man she doesn't love. She knows that she is settling for him. Her true love is a "multimillionaire" named Luc DeForges which she has known a long time but with whom she has hurt in the past as well as he hurt her. Will she allow herself to realize and admit that she belongs to Luc or will she settle into the life she thinks she deserves? It allowed me to be able to picture in my mind where she was at all times. it is a wonderful book.
